Capital Development, LLC (“CapitalDev”, "Company") is committed to maintaining client (“Client”) confidence and trust. We value Client privacy and recognize the sensitivity of personal information. We have adopted the following policies to assure each Client that personal information, if provided to us, will be treated carefully and appropriately.

We make protecting the information we gather about our Clients a priority. We maintain physical, electronic and procedural safeguards to keep personal information safe even after each loan is funded and closed.

Every loan request made through the Company requires a comprehensive loan package containing personal information to be organized within the eDocLending.com website (“Website”). When interacting with the Website it is Company policy that personal information related to the Client, the Client's business and the Client's property is private and confidential. The personal information provided is accessible only by appropriate staff and designated essential third-parties, and is used only for the purposes for which Clients provide the information, namely to reply to a request for commercial real estate financing.

Collection and Use of Information; Disclaimer

Our policy applies to contact information (public information as more fully defined below) and personal information (nonpublic information as more fully defined below) about you that we obtain in connection with providing our financial products and services. The Website requires the Client to provide certain personally identifiable information in order to use certain features and functions of the Website. By providing such information, the Client affirms that they are providing the Contact information and/or Personal Information for a business purpose and further, the Client consents to our collection and use of it, as described herein.

The information the Client and/or affiliate provides may include information provided during the application, pre-qualifying, processing and/or underwriting stages, including: Contact Information (Client's name and address) and Personal Information (financial information, such as: personal financial statements; account numbers, tax returns; business financial statement; debt schedules; property information; personal credit information, payment history, and other reports). Contact Information and Personal Information will be used to process the Client's loan request and if necessary, to contact the Client regarding collection of additional loan documentation. The Client agrees and acknowledges that their loan request may be processed, fulfilled or serviced by third-parties other than CapitalDev and Client understands that such third-parties are not controlled by CapitalDev in their use of the information provided to them to process, fulfill or service the loan request. Therefore, in order to process, fulfill or service the loan request, the Client expressly consents to our sharing of Contact Information and/or Personal Information with any essential third-party financial service provider. Company or Company affiliates (companies related to Company by common control, ownership, or business agreement) may use a Client's Contact Information to get in touch with a Client regarding the status of their loan request. The Client may also be contacted by Company, our employees or affiliates regarding additional services and features, or Company may request the Client's feedback about their experience with Company.

Sharing of Information

After thirty (30) days from Client receipt of this Privacy Policy, we may make the Client's Contact Information (but not Personal Information) available to third-party financial service providers whose products and services they may find useful. If the Client prefers that we do not disclose their Contact Information as described in this paragraph, they may send us an email at any time to: support@capitaldev.com or they may send a toll-free fax to 866-448-7338. Further, if Client prefers not to be contacted by Company or its affiliates for any purpose other than to facilitate the closing of their loan, Client can send an e-mail to support@capitaldev.com or a fax to the above number so stating.

We may share Contact Information and/or Personal Information as permitted or as required by law.

Any correspondence sent to the e-mail above regarding choices about sharing information will be processed and become effective within 10 business days; however, it may take several months for a Client to stop receiving mailings.

Computer Tracking of Identifiable Information

Our Website does track, collect and distribute information about visitors. We regularly compile aggregate statistics that show the number of visitors to our site, the download and upload activity for particular information on our Website, and the Internet Service Providers (ISPs) that those requests come from. These aggregated statistics are used by internal CapitalDev technical support staff to improve the Website in an ongoing effort to provide better information and services.

Like most websites, the Company Website uses "cookies" to allow users to move more quickly through the Website. We use cookies only for purposes of planning and tracking, and assisting the technical function of our Website. The Website may provide the Client user with links to websites of third-parties. In the event the Client user chooses to access such websites, Company is not responsible for any actions or policies of such third-parties. Further, please note that the third-party's privacy policy and security practices may differ from Company standards. Company assumes no responsibility nor does it control, endorse or guarantee any aspect of the Client user's access of the linked site. We recommend that the Client user check the applicable privacy policy of such party before providing personally identifiable information to it, as its privacy policy may differ from the Company's privacy policy.

Any changes to our Privacy Policy will be posted on this page so that all parties are aware of our policies. We may also contact appropriate parties via email with any changes.
